J-Hope of BTS will perform on “Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve,” an annual New Year’s Eve special show by ABC TV, on Dec. 31.

The singer will be performing three songs, including his solo “=” (equal sign) (2022), “Chicken Noodle Soup” (2019) and a holiday remix of BTS’s mega-hit song “Butter” (2021), in Times Square.

J-Hope previously performed on the show as part of BTS, in 2017 and 2019.

J-Hope was the first member of the band to officially launch a solo career this year and successfully performed as a solo artist for the first time on the main stage of the Lollapalooza music festival in July. He became the first Korean artist to take to the main stage in the music festival’s history.

“Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest” will air live on Dec. 31 at 8 p.m.(KST).
