Free admission days in National Parks
Celebrating their centennial, National Park Foundation has announced 16 fee-free days in 2016. Admission for the parks are usually from $3 to $30.
- January 18: Martin Luther King Jr Day
- April 16-24: National Park Week
- August 25-28: National Park Service Birthday Weekend
- September 24: National Public Lands Day
- November 11: Veterans Day
Free Fishing days
In California, you can go fishing without license on July 4th and September 5th this year. If you’re going to other states for your fishing trip, visit takemefishing.org/nfbw for the free fishing day information.

Huntington Library
First Thursday of every month (requires reservation through online or phone)
Descanso Gardens
Third Tuesday of every month

Museum Free-for-all days
You can enjoy museums for free on Jan 30th at 20 participating museums, including Getty, Laguna Art Museum, Descanso Gardens, California Science Center, The Broad, OC Museum of Art, LACMA, and Torrance Art Museum.
