43rd Korea Daily Student Art and Video Contest award winners announced

The winners of the 43rd Student Art and Video Contest, sponsored by Bank of Hope and organized by the Korea Daily, have been announced.

Yenee Kim, an 8th grader from Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Middle School, and LeAhn Namkung, a 1st grader from Cascade Christian School, were selected as the grand prize winners in the art category. Tarah Ban, a 12th grader, was chosen as the grand prize winner in the video category.

This year, approximately 1,300 students applied for the contest. The Korea Daily conducted additional selections, ultimately honoring a total of 236 students—215 in the art category and 21 in the video category.

The full list of winners is available on the contest website and the Korea Daily’s education portal.

An online exhibition for the art category will be held on the contest website starting today, and a separate Metaverse exhibition will showcase the main winning works.
